Hi everyone

I would like to try nutella as a cake filling. I know I saw some suggestions on cc, but I can't locate them when I search. Do you mix it with something else? I have chocolate bettercreme, can I mix it with that? Also, do I need to refrigerate it to firm the cake and filling up before crumb coating? Hope someone has some info for me.

I just add Nutella to my buttercream recipe (vanilla or chocolate is delicious). It incorporates easily, so just add as much or as little as you like. As far as refrigeration, treat it as you would your regular buttercream recipe. Enjoy!

I've always used it straight out of the container.

Thank you for your replies. So what do you think about mixing it with chocolate bettercreme?
