Hi, I have a cake to do for about 80 ppl and I'm running dry on ideas... The young adult bible study at my church (ages 18-40) asked me to do a cake for them. I have free reign to do anything I want, but I DONT HAVE A CLUE! They are having a BBQ/COOKOUT/PICNIC get-together so I want something Festive, but also dealing with bible study.
ANY IDEAS WOULD BE TRULY WELCOMED. Please also be mindful that it has to feed at least 80 ppl!
Thanks Taneesha
Woah...never thought to do that1 But it sounds exciting... How would I begin to create that? And how can I make it big enough for 80 servings?
make it a full two 4"-tiers tall -- but make it look like one large cake. It'll be an 8in tall cake (and then some with the top decos)
basket is the cake -- make oval or carve a rectangle into an oval or do round.
(13x9 oval or 13x9 rectangle carved to oval; 12" tier on 10" tier and carve to get slanted sides.)
fish and loaves -- made small: fondant
larger: RKT covered in fondant
---
options:
instead of one large cake -- two smaller: 1 for fish and 1 for loaves
loaves and fish could be cake too. (loaves easily could be domes cut off cupcakes.
I made a Bible cake topper, you could make a full size Bible cake. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rayelles-Cakes/338349461086?v=photos#!/photo.php?pid=4698211&id=338349461086
