I've worked weeks on this cake and need to pack all the gumpaste and fondant decos to take the cake tomorrow. Lots of them don't go on the cake, they will be on the beach cake board, and my last gumpaste that i put on buttercream looked nasty after the grease leached up overnight. What is the best way to pack my stuff up for the party?

I would get a box and put a layer of non-slip plastic on the bottom of it, then place the fondant/gumpaste doodads on the plastic, maybe with a little bubble wrap between the pieces. Close the box to keep out dust and light (some decorating colors can fade in sunlight). Best of luck!

I would either line a box with Kleenex or toliet paper (sorry but it is soft) or you can use shredded paper to pack in the box. Probably depends on what the decorations are....and take lots of RI with you.
