Can You Put An Edible Image On A Cheesecake?

Has anyone had luck with this technique? I'm assuming that you have to frost the cheesecake top in BC first; is that right?

Icing Images adhere with moisture. Depending on the brand of icing sheet, you can put it directly on the cheesecake. Some icing sheets are thin and may show the color through, others are a bit thicker and can adhere directly to the cheesecake. If you are using a thinner brand, put a layer of white frosting underneath the image
