we have a huge block party coming up and its also the 18th anniversary of my inlaw win over an addiction she wants a cake and i know she loves crabs so i wanted to do it for her does anyone know what i need or have every made one and could give me any tips. tia.

It would be helpful to know what you had in mind....
A FBCT of a bushel of crabs on a round cake, or fondant/gumpaste crabs scrambling out of an overturned 3D carved bushel basket cake. Or a 2D sheet cake carved to look like a basket with b/c crabs on tops.
And how big do you want/need this cake to be.
