I have a baby shower that I'm working on for tomorrow and want to apply a pink and white striped ruffle around teh sides. I wondered if anyone could weigh in on how Lori Hutchinson (love her!!!) made this striped ruffle? It's been driving me nuts because the black stripes look laminated rather than painted on. I know I could roll over black strips onto white fondant but wouldn't they get distorted? HELP! I've seen this on other cakes too and I know it's a look I'd use a lot. Anyone have any ideas?
