I have a cake order for this Saturday and it is a "Farm" themed cake. I have to make about 5 animals and then some apples trees and a barn that is sitting up against the side of the cake, not a 3-d barn. I wanted to start making the animals ahead of time because it is my first time making them. How far in advance can I make them?

Make them now! You are better off making them in advance so they have a chance to dry. Also, keep them in a cupboard away from sunlight so they don't fade.
