A friend has asked me to make a christening cake for their 2 children. The boy is 5 and the girl is only a few weeks old.
I need to travel about 2 hours with it in the car and it is for August, so hopefully will be warm but you never know in the Uk lol.

Any ideas gratefully accepted as really stumped on this one x

How many servings; sheet cake, tiered or double layer round or square? What colors are they interested in? I love the marble effect. Maybe in mint green and white with a white cross.

Ok what about this:

Light blue, light yellow and white marbled fondant, ribbon border, ceramic or if you can make a 3D boy teddy bear wearing something light blue standing up at bottom border on the side, girl bear wearing something light yellow sitting in front of white gumpaste cross or since she's a baby maybe some yellow gumpaste baby shoes in front of cross. Both bears (if you make them) can be holding a bunch of stars on wires (like balloons, wires cut real short) I choose these colors because pink and blue is so baby shower. I've seen ceramic teddy bears in wearing clothes in these colors in party supply stores, or look online, people use them to make favors for baby showers.
