hi everyone,
I want to make an Ipad cake for DHs birthday. and I need help painting the back drop,
do you think I should paint it straight on the cake or maybe make a separate sheet of gumpaste let it dry, then paint and just place it on top of the cake, which do you think would be more neat.
I got him an Ipad of his birthday : D
Thanks in advance

I'm very very new to baking but I think it would look nice if you make a separate sheet of gum paste let it dry and place it on top of the cake. Btw, he is gonna love his iPad!!! If u bought it prior to June 7 th then you can qualify for the unlimited wireless plan. Just an FYI. I am using mines as I type!! Love it!! I would love to see a pic of your completed cake whichever way you decide!!! Sounds exciting!!!!!
