I have been asked to make a three tier strawberry shortcake. Here's the catch. It is to be covered in fondant. All the recipes I have seen for strawberry shortcake requires keep refridgeration. However I have been told several times that you cannot put a fondant cake in the fridge? How do I accomplish this?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

You can refrigerate fondant... I use satin ice and they even state on their product that it can be refrigerated. I have done it with my cakes w/o problems... I refrigerated my Strawberry shortcake as well.
