A friend ordered a buttercream cakewith gumpaste flowers on it. If I put the flowersdirectly on the buttercream will the moisture from the buttercream affect the flowers and make them lose their shape? Thanks for the help!

If the flowers are completely dry, they will do fine on buttercream. I have even put dried gumpaste on a cake and put the cake in the fridge with no problems.
