I would assume that's about an 11x15x2" carved down to about 25 servings w/ 2 mini ball pan cakes on top. I would charge $2.00/serv. plus $3.00/serv. for the mini balls......so total cost for that cake would be $62.00. Total cost to make that cake, about $12

IMO, it looks like it might be 2 heart pans with 2 mini ball pans.

Hmmmm maybe thats where I make my mistake- I was told to charge by the serving before it was carved- so I was thinking it was a half sheet before carving- which if I am lucky I get 2.00 a serving, and that put it at 90.00 plus an upcharge to carve and add the balls. (one or the other would be free honestly)

I would probebly end up doing it for 65.00- that seems to be about what folks will pay for a cake around here- 65-85. is usually tops.

Now I have a hole bull riding cake coming, bulls, chutes the whole nine yards, she is aware it will be over 100.00 and is good with that.

I charge per serving AFTER it's carved ( I usually guesstimate) but charge a higher per serving cost. My regular sheet cakes are $1.00/serv. so you can see that my 2D carved sheets are twice that cost at $2.00/serv.

I looks like two hearts with the points cut off at the waist. It is very well done. I would charge at least $150 to $175. It looks as if it is only one layer.

Thank you everyone I was thinking 65.00 but I didn't want to over charge or under charge myself.
