Hello everyone!

I'm decorating a cake today and left my gumpaste bow for last :s
How long does it take for gumpaste to dry? Taking cake to the party in about 4.5 hours. Is that enough time?

Thanks!!!!

it can be enough time as long as you rolled the gumpaste really thin. if you didn't it's going to take longer to dry, but 4 1/2 hours could work. just don't put it on until you absolutely have to. i also saw somewhere on here that you can put it in the oven (that's turned off) with the oven light on and that it's a really dry place and may speed up the process. HTH of course if you have tylose, mix some in and that will help too!
