I want to do a fondant cake that is half black and half white, but wasnt' sure the best way to do this? Do I roll out each fondant separately then apply it to the cake? What about the seam?

I want to do something like this.

This was the first time that I tired someting like this. What i did was just take and mark a staight line in the BC icing and then just placed the white to that line and and the rolled the black fondant to the line, Was really simple.
