I believe funky tappits are too girly for a man. Has anyone put it on a cake for a male; pictures?

I know about printing out fonts and piping with royal icing. Any suggestions on what I could use to make flexible letters for the sides?

tape printout to side of cake pan.

pipe and let dry -- will be preformed

trick is to use cake pan with diameter to equal diameter of iced cake.
