My hair stylist asked me to make a cake for her rehearsal dinner. Seems a little strange to me, but whatever! All she told me was that she wants it to be fun and very unique, and incorp. her wedding colors of blue, green, and purple-- there isn't a defined theme. I'm so tired of making circles and stripes and diamonds...plus I don't want the cake to look too crazy busy with all these colors. Can anyone help with some ideas? The cake needs to serve ~50.

I just googled blue, green, purple and found some cool images.

Like these flowers you could make from gelatin. Or if your good at painting the sunset over water scene. Or a couple of floral prints.

Those flowers made in gelatin would be bad a$$! I'm a bit scared of them though...and I don't have an airbrush tool to do a sunset. I'm thinking that the 'funky' she's looking for should be a topsy turvy cake... & I'll do 3 smaller tiers...
