if a recipe asks for adding instant pudding mix in DH cakemix, but I'm using the BC cakemix, should I skip the pudding mix since it already has it in the cake mix? I would really like to use it if possible as the lemon flavoured pudding mix will enhance the flavour. any tips will be greatly appreciated.

I put pudding in my BC cakemix and it turned out great. I had also added sour cream as the receipe call for that as well.

I just posted this in another thread too. But I almost always use a box of instant pudding mix in my BC cake mixes. And I have not had any complaints. I prefer the BC to the other mixes since Betty seems to never let me down.

I to, always add pudding & sour cream to any box cake I make. Also if you want a chocolate cake add the pudding sour cream and choclate chips...yum.
