I just made this cake last weekend & the bride that I met with today is looking for lovebirds as a topper...I know where she can get one set, but it kind of has a grey-ish tone to them, and I thought these would go better with her cake. (Her cake is at the end of next month, so we have a little bit of time.)

Thanks!
LL

They aren't blue, but I have a wedding in the fall with that exact style bird topper. It's very cute...modern

Ok...is there a link to them online? I've tried searching online & can't find anything!

Have you considered just making them out of gumpaste? That way you could get an exact match on the color, they look pretty simple to sculpt. Just a thought. Good Luck!

If you sculpt them out of gumpaste, wouldn't that infringe on copyright? I'm not sure where the lines blur and I'd hate to see someone get in trouble. If it wouldn't, I'd love to know. icon_smile.gif

Why don't you just purchase the set and paint them with non toxic paint. If you are concerned about the paint you could put a little piece of wax paper underneath them.
