Does anyone have a recipe for a butter cream frosting that decorates well but can withstand this hot weather?

Thanks!

Lots to choose from in the 'recipes' section. Search for 'crusting buttercream'. I like IndyDebi's. Just add butter flavor to taste. HTH icon_smile.gif

I have a wedding on Saturday and the temp will be about 94 degrees at that time. Its an outside reception...ACK!
Anyway, I am using Sugarshacks buttercream. Lots of people use IndyDebi's as well. I have great things about both.

look for a crusting recipe that has mostly shortening for fat. typically shortening + powdered sugar + some kind of liquid + flavorings.

Sharon Zambito's recipe is the only one I use! I LOVE it. Delicious, creamy, smooth, beautiful. icon_biggrin.gificon_smile.gificon_biggrin.gif

I use the Sugarshack recipe & love it! I don't have to deal with heat/humidity too much where I live but it smooths wonderfully & tastes amazing
