Can someone tell me how much these recipes makes? And how well do you think they will stand up in about 80 degree heat? http://cakecentral.com/recipes/16188/the-best-buttercream-ever

And, I would appreciate pictures of cakes that have some simple buttercream decorations! Thanks!

I've never made that recipe, but judging by the ingredient amounts I'd guess 5-6 cups.

oh and shortening does better than butter for heat. since that recipe has more shortening than butter, i think it'd be fine in 80 degrees.
