Which birthday favors is best to give out to guests...cupcakes or shape cookies? Any reply will be appreciated? Thank you

I would box mini cupcakes in elegant boxes. Cookies seem to be a bigger hit with the younger set.

As a guest I would prefer cookies, only because they're "hardier" with the cupcakes I have to worry about carrying it just so, so it doesn't get smooshed. But I'd love either.

I personally like cookies because I can do them further ahead of time.

But if you do cupcakes, make sure you package them in boxes for them to be taken home so they can handle some moving around without getting smashed.
