I've never used an edible image before. I know I could take a picture to Walmart and they will do it for me, but I've seen edible image plaques that stand up on a cake in the shape of the character. How do you do that? Is the plaque itself like a cookie? I would really love to do one on the top of his cake. He is having pirates for his birthday and I saw a cake on here with an edible image of Jack Sparrow and it was sooo cool. Please help! Thanks a bunch! icon_biggrin.gif

Hi!

Take a look at my photos. The Spider-man Cake has edible images standing up. All the figures are printed on a frosting sheet. I attached the image to a piece of damp fondant. Cut the excess fondant around the images. I let dry for several days. Attach them to skewers with melted chocolate.

There you go....

=)

Michael

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. That sounds easy enough. I'll try it a few times just in case I mess it up. I'll have a few to go with.
