Hi Everyone ! icon_biggrin.gif
I will be decorating a few dozen cupcakes this weekend and was wondering what consistency or specific recipe people like?

The cupcakes are for a graduation party on Friday and we will be decorating on Thursday, basically with just swirls of frosting on the top, but it's supposed to be hot! I just wanted to make sure that the frosting I choose to use will hold up to the heat.

I have heard Wilton's does not taste that good? I was originally planning on using Wilton's recipe but if anybody has other ideas that would be awesome! Any input would be great thumbs_up.gif

AMBC works well in the heat. Indydeb's buttercream with crisco works well in the heat and has a pleasant taste. You are not going to leave them out in direct sun are you?

How hot is hot? SMBC and IMBC might work well if it isn't too hot. I say that because here right now even though it is warm it is not too warm.
