Customer is requesting a Rockabilly themed cake, I have done research but having a hard time incorporating the idea to paper. She says she wants a stand up bass to resemble Reverend Horton Heat.

You could use a flat round for the base and make it look like a record. I don't know how you would go about doing the stand up bass though, maybe RKT covered in fondant. If she hasn't given you a color scheme you could use either pink and black or teal blue and black. You might even put some old school flames around the sides of the record. Just my thoughts.
