What is the best way to go about folding large sheets of swags like this? I have done the smaller swags that go from ledge to ledge but never ones like this. Not great at it. Every time I fold it I distort and crack the edges.

Anyone know how this was done?

Not sure they are "swags".. looks like they a could just be overlapping strips of fondant?

I think they're just strips too, but it looks to me like both edges of each strip was folded over a bit to give a more rounded and finished look to the edges.

(Slow moment) why didn't I think of that. I have been making big sheets of fondant an then folding it over to do the pleating. I feel so dumb. Lol. icon_redface.gif

I did try to do individual parts but I didn't think of folding over the edges and overlapping each piece. Good thing its for a dummy cake and not a real one! Stripping the fondant and starting over now.

Thanks for the advice!
