I'm pretty new to cakes and have always had my husband help me with cake transporting. Well, today for a shower I was hosting, the DH was not going to be getting home in time to help me deliver. I started to get a little nervous. Looking around my house for a box big enough to set the cake in, or something that I could work with.
I took the lid off a pretty big storage tote, flipped it over and since I didn't have any non-skid mats in the house, I grabbed one of my big impression mats and laid it down with the cake on top. I figured the texture and material would be enough to keep it from moving, and it worked like a charm icon_smile.gif I'm feeling more confident now icon_wink.gif

Nice improv! I love it when people are able to get things done without having the "necessary" tool for a project!
