i wanted it little thick cause im using a dummy and i had to cut the dummy into a wedge so i didnt want it to show. Would that be a problem?

Usually if it is too thick it does crack. I am not as experienced at most of the other people on here, but one reason why mine cracks is if it is too thick.

I did a search on here a few weeks ago, when my fondant was getting elephant skin. I think it was drying out. I just need to learn to work faster. Fondant will also crack when it starts to dry out. Here's a link that might help..http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=666538&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0

Hopefully someone will help you out with some better answers. icon_biggrin.gif
