Does anyone else find that DH cake mixes vary? Sometimes they rise really well and other times they don't. I've even had some sink in the the middle. I always check the expriration dates to make sure they're not stale but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
I've started baking from scratch because the cakes are more consistent.

I use DH and I haven't noticed that at all. 
I always have great results using their cake mixes.
