How Big Should My Shop Be??

I am in the throes of designing a business plan for my future cake shop. I don't want anything huge. Just a shop front with a few benches, coffee machine and a small display case and a kitchen where I can work on orders with 2 staff members. I have a kitchen equipment supplier, but to give me an accurate estimate of cost, he needs an idea of how big my kitchen will be. I know I need to get out and look at sites, but it's a little hard to do where I live -I'm a western expat living in Bahrain- so I would like an idea of what I should be looking at before I begin

I am planning on selling cupcakes, macarons and cookies out front, and concentrating on wedding/ birthday/ corporate cakes out back.

Any advice/ tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
