Hey CC icon_biggrin.gif I am here with yet another noob like question icon_razz.gif

I need a buttercreme recipe that can stay out of the fridge once on my cake. I also need one that is sturdy enough for several layers.

I used mine and it tasted yummy but it didnt crust like I wanted it to do. I added ps to it and it just didnt work.

Anybody have like a full proof easy for folks like me recipe that really tastes yummy? If it helps the tiers alternate from vanilla cake to chocolate cake if that helps.....

I'm not sure what recipe you are using, but I like Indydebi's. It is very stable and can stay out of the fridge.

I am still fairly new to all of this so I have a lot of experimenting to do icon_razz.gif

I always use one called"extra special buttercream", its in the most saved recipes section. It holds up well and tastes great,I like that it is half butter and half shortening so you get a sturdy b/c
