Is there anyone out there who can instruct me in how to make calla lilies/roses using rolled bc fondant?
I'm doing a couple of cakes for my church's 92nd anniversary and I want them (the cakes) to be classy, hence, the calla lilies and roses.

Any help would be most appreciated. I searched this site but came up with only a how-to of how to do calla lilies using gum paste.... icon_sad.gif

Check the Wilton site or even there yearbook. I'm not sure about about the lilies, but they teach the rose.

Also, if you find directions for Fondant or Gum paste, you could use them. If you are making flowers with any of these agents, you'll want to make sure and stabilize them with gum-tex. Gum-tex is an indgredient in Gum-paste. It will insure that your flowers dry and harden so they don't break. If you just used the rolled buttercream, they wouldn't be as secure.

Hope this helps,

Rose
