How do I make a scroll look like an old piece of paper? What colors should I airbrush on the edges?

I have an airbrush color called "ivory" but to me it looks more like parchment brown. I would use that..

i did a fondant square that was colored ivory, then i kinda did a sponge paint technique with some brown + alcohol with a paper towel. i tore the edges of the fondant a bit so it'd look worn.

I made a scroll at a class. I did a gumpaste scroll in ivory and then cut a couple of little bits out of the sides to look sort of ripped then brushed some brown powder mixed with a little yellow into the cut outs and around the top and bottom of the scrolls to age it, looked great.
