I took an order from the high school for a cake that serves 100. She left the design and style up to me. I've never done a sheet cake before, but I'm thinking a tiered cake would not be appropriate for a banquet and award ceremony. I want to do something unique....do you have any suggestions for a large sheet with maybe a round stacked on it. I may have to do 2 cakes so that I can get 100 servings. Suggestions!!????

A half sheet, (12" X 18", 4" tall) will serve 108.

So whatever the awards ceremony is about could be the decorations.

2- 12 by 18s are enough for the 100 servings but can you give more information on the type of awards that'll be given?

I pretty much have the decorations worked out, I'm just trying to figure out how to do this differently so that isn't a regular old sheet cake!
