Customer is requesting a Strawberry jam substance as filling, wouldn't that be to hard to spread since its so think. Any suggustions please.

I've used jam before (actually growing up in England thats all we filled our cakes with) it wouldn't be to hard to spread, place amount you need in a bowl give it a mix up if you think it's still to hard to spread zap in the microwave for a few seconds, it shouldn't pull at the cake.
