Is There Any Way To Save A Dried Hard Chunk Of Fondant?

so hard it is not kneadable....
are there any tricks out there to save my rock hard fondant? (it's not going to be eaten, but used for modeling).

Try microwaving it in 15 second intervals. I've done this with some that I made a figure out of. Be careful that it isn't hot when you go to knead it.

Sometimes the outside is beyond help, but you can break off the hard outside and dig out the middle which may still be usable, especially if you only need a little bit.

it was rock hard thru and thru so i couldn't salvage any in the middle.
the microwave did the trick, yeah!
