yeaterday i make some bows out of gumpaste and fondant (50/50) and when they dried they were a lot lighter than the original colour i made them into. I use the wilton gel colours. This has happened when i use just fondant and when i just use gum paste and yesterday it was when i used both. Id like it to stay a vibrant colour - any tips???

It takes more color for gumpaste than fondant. For me anyway.
