Hi all! I am trying to design a very abstract cake topper and thought some wire curved with sugar gems on the tips of them would be really perfect for the cake design. Only problem is I know NOTHING about sugar gems! I am a 1-year cake decorator and self educated from the beginning. I am wondering if I purchased the Sugar Gems, how do I or can I even attach them to the ends of the wire to have them sort of "floating" above the cake?

Thanks for any advice!

i think i would try heating the end of the wire and inserting it into the gem. If the wire goes black from heating, i would use a slightly bigger one to poke a hole through then follow with a fresh wire.
