I've done 2 FBCT, 1 was tinkerbell and the other was a graduation hat. The tinkerbell I couldn't get to turn out right. I cant get the buttercream smooth enough, it sticks to my spatula. I've watched the youtube video and read how to do it on here but I need help on smoothing it out. Any tips would be appreciated. My friend wants me to make her daughter a tinkerbell cake for next weekend, and an iron man cake for next month.

TIA,
Kayce

I have only done one FBCT. Wax paper on botton then I outlined the pattern then filled the reverse side with BC. Wax paper on top. Put one cake board under the bottom wax paper and another over the top wax paper and rolled pressed with my hands and the rolled with a rolling pin. lifted cardboard to check the side that shows. I had pretty good luck.

Hope it works out.
