What a freaking disaster. I have the basic model w/ deep cut blade. All it does is tear my fondant/gumpaste up. One letter is good, the next one not. Can't seem to find the depth, speed or pressure to use and I know I have seen it on here. Maybe I am rolling too thin. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
I got a tip from another post on here. FREEZE your fondant or gumpaste first. It works wonders. I just did an entire cake last night after that tip and it was worlds different. You may have to pop it back in the freezer if you end up cutting for several minutes. The other option is to let it dry out for awhile. Fondant I would let dry for a half hour, gumpaste 10 or 15 minutes.
Oh, I used LOW not minimum pressure and rolled it pretty thin, not paper thin.
