I've been asked to make german chocolate cupcakes for a birthday party and wondering if anyone has a tried and true recipe they'd be willing to share. Also, is there anyway to make a german chocolate cupcake pretty?
I guess this isn't a popular flavor.....not one of my favorites either but it is the birthday boys!
By 'pretty' do you mean 'neat'?

Thanks for the replies. I'm a home baker, not a professional by any means so by "pretty" I just mean making it look better than smearing lumpy frosting on top. I usually use a 1M for most frosting on cupcakes but I didn't thing I could use that for this type of frosting.
