My husband bought me a new mixer for Mother's Day. He bought me the all metal 'Professional HD' Kitchen Aid stand mixer- it's beautiful! I have never had any mixer like this before. I've been using the same two beater hand mixer to make goods for the past 12 years. But, there are so many different types/models of Kitchen Aid mixers. Which one do you recommend? icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know which is the best, but I am getting that one today as my mother's day gift as well. I have been using a hand mixer and can't wait to use the new one.

I got the Kitchen Aid Professional 600 series 6 quart mixer for an early Mother's Day gift a few weeks ago. I love it! I still have my standard Kitchen Aid 4-1/2 quart mixer but the 6 quart is handy for mixing up big batches of icing and cake batter.
