I am attempting to make a FSU football helmet cake, I have gold gel color and brugendy but they are not coming out the right colors. Can anyone tell me what other colors I can mix either with these to make the school colors or what colors I can mix together to get them. I am making the marshmellow fondant. I need HELP quickly. Thanks

The Wilton burgundy is crap...throw it away now and save yourself the trouble. I have always had to start with red fondant and add purple until I get the garnet color. The gold should work, you might have to add a touch of brown to knock off the yellow tint.
