Hi! I just saw the Orange Emulsion and the store and was intrigued! I really want to make a dreamsicle cake! Which way do you all do it - vanilla cake with orange icing or orange cake with vanilla icing?

Does the emulsion taste good in both cake and icings or is it better for one vs. the other?

I opened the bottle and took a sniff...holy cow does it smell great! I can't wait to try it. Thanks for any hints you all might have. icon_smile.gif

I haven't tried it in cakes, but in frosting--it's delicious! I loved the smell of it and paired the orange buttercream with a fresh strawberry/bavarian cream cake. It really was fantastic.

If you do decide to use it in a cake, please let me know how it worked out for you.

I'm not really sure what emulsion means, but by looking at it in the jar, it looks a lot thicker than an extract or an oil. We'll see how it works out. Hopefully it will taste as good as it smells!

Thanks for the replies!
