Does Modeling Chocolate Mixed With Fondant Ever Dry Hard?

Ok so I'm makeing a baseball cap and the bill on it hasn't dried at ALL over night. I used modeling chocolate mixed with fondant and LOVED working with it but now I need to know if I should take it off an use fondant since I still have a little over 24 hours before I have to deliver.... ahhh! Please help I have no idea what Im working with... I guess this is why I should break down and take some classes! Thanks for your time and helpicon_smile.gif

how did you make that cake? i''m looking at making a cake for my son's birthday and I fell in love with this one. Any info on how to make the baseball cap would be great..thank you! icon_biggrin.gif

Hi, i use fondant and modeling chocolate when i made my cap. It never did get hard. I suggest that you use g/p , not fondant for your brim. If and when i make another one, the brim will be made with g/p only. hth
