So I am making a McQueen cake for my SIL (husband's sister). My husband was asking me when/how I was going to carve it and I shared with him that I am a little nervous since I've never carved a cake before Mind you, I am not taking any money for it as I am only a hobby baker.

So my husband says, "well, you're not a professional, she should keep that in mind" and I said "right, AND a professional would charge $3-$4 serving for a carved cake." So he said...and this is for all of you...

"Really? That seems really cheap for all the work that goes into it"
