I am making a Blackberry cake and want to add some edible images to the fondant keys in advance. I would like to do that 4 days early. I will be adding the keys to the cake on Wed night and we will be eating the cake on Thurs. There is a lot of fiddling, cutting and pasting, so I really do not want to wait until the last minute.

So, if I add the edible images with BC Sunday and let them sit out until added to the cake on Thurs, will they dry, crack, curl or anything like that?

TIA

You can cover with plastic wrap or place in an airtight container and they won't dry out on you. thumbs_up.gif

Be careful not to let the plastic wrap touch the image. Also keep them out of direct light until ready to use.
