hey Guys

does anyone know how to make lavender flowers out of modeling paste. A friend is looking at a lavender themed cake and I was wondering if it's possible to make the flowers themselves,

Is modeling paste food safe? I know some clay products are loaded with heavy metals, lead in particular. Hook them up with a bit of gumpaste or fondant, and yes they can probably do some of the simple flowers. Look to youtube for some excellent tutorials.
