Edible Pic On Fondant?

Can i put an edible picture on fondant or gumpaste? I want to buy a edible picture from walmart and was wondering if it can some how be put on fondant and gumpaste?

No problem, I do it all the time. Very easy. I tell people to used a lightly water down piping gel , instead of water. Works alot better. Very light, not to much., it only takes a little to make it attach and won't tear on you as easy. Hope this helps thumbs_up.gif

Yes you can.

The best way I have found is to lightly spray the fondant with water then lay the image over it. Then smooth using a small paint roller, that will remove any bubbles and stick it firmly all over.

If you do get a stubborn bubble that just wont roll out then prick it gently with a pin and roll again.

Just be sure that whatever touches the image is dry as it will smear the image otherwise!

Sure, I just dampen a paper towel and wipe over the fondant surface. Works great!
