Sugarflair has a "Cream" Paste, that should work quite well. HTH

I have found that if you make your icing with evaporated milk such as carnation, it not only tastes great, but it is the perfect champagne color.

I will be using fondant not icing as the cake covering.....I am trying but nothing seems to be getting me the coloring I am looking for. Pink cake box has a cake in google images that is the perfect color......now how the heck do I get that icon_sad.gif

can you post the pic?

Is it like an ivory you're after?

I used gold icing color (americolor) for this fondant, it was a champagne like color........seems odd to use gold, but it doesn't come across as "yellow" unless you use a ton!

I'm interested to know this also. We also have a cake coming up that will require champagne colored fondant. KHalstead, what do you mean by "using ivory"? Is there a gel color called ivory? Thx!

Maybe it is just the picture but that color looks more like a khaki to me.
