What do I mix with dust to make a paint to color fondant.

You can use what is called Everclear which is a high alcohol content liquid but is hard to find but I use vodka or white rum and it works just the same.The alcohol evaporates so there is not taste or smell.

I've only used (McCormick's) orange extract, which has an 80% alcohol content, and it works great.

Could flavor extracts work? I've done that with small designs on BC.

Everclear here too - I have to go to KY to get it, not allowed for sale in Ohio.

I have used vanilla extract on fondant & it doesn't seem to dry very well, whatever I'm painting stays sticky...

I just use whatever vodka is on sale at the liquor store, everything dries great, no problems.

I use vodka. Also use it in the airbrush to spray cakes to clear off cornstarch after decorating. gives nice clean look

Vodka, gin, anything with high ALC content.

I've used Lemon Extract or Everclear.
